JOIN OUR DEBATE TEAM

Every Sunday | 2:00–3:00 PM | Sept 21 – Nov 23 | Online

Each week, students join our online team workshop, where they learn key debate skills, collaborate with teammates, and prepare for competition. Sessions are live, interactive, and taught by experienced RDI coaches who bring energy and care to every lesson. Students will participate in weekly workshops in preparation for a city-wide tournament with hundreds of other students from greater Richmond, VA.

Students will build arguments, practice public speaking, and learn how to debate both sides of an issue — all while gaining confidence and having fun. Each student will receive assignments to help them grow outside of class. Full participation and preparation are required in order to compete at the final tournament.

Ages 10+ are welcome to join, with or without prior debate experience. Students who are eager to think critically, speak clearly, and challenge themselves in a fun, supportive environment.
